Recipes For a Fatty Liver Diet

Fatty liver disease has been considered to be a prevalent disease because of the general deterioration of eating habits throughout the nation. When you are diagnosed with the simple fatty liver disease, then you should consider doing something that will enable you avoid the serious medical complications that may occur in the future. The essential thing you should do to avoid cases of fibrosis and cirrhosis is to change your eating habits. Besides, having the fatty liver disease does not mean it’s the end of the world, you should not be afraid. It is prudent to change the way you cook and eat and adopt the fatty liver diet recipes because they help in reversing the effects of the bad eating habits in your life. Moreover, the health of your liver greatly depends on the food you eat. Here are some fatty liver diet recipes that will help you get started.

Tofu & Broccoli Delight 

3 cloves of minced garlic 
1 tbsp. Low sodium soy sauce
1 tbsp. honey 
1 tbsp. cornstarch 
Chili sauce or chili oil 
1 US cup of meat chicken broth 
A cup of fresh scallions’ 
2 tbsp. sesame oil 
A cup of sliced mushrooms 
1/3 cup of ginger dressing
1 kilogram tofu (firm)
Step 1: marinate a kilogram of firm tofu using a 1/3 cup of ginger dressing in a non-reactive bowl for a half an hour. 
Step 2: when a half an hour ends, remove the firm tofu and keep the marinade
Step 3: pour 2 tbsps. of sesame oil in your cast iron pan under medium to high temperature to cook the sliced mushrooms and broccoli florets. Stir-fry the ingredients for about six minutes until they become tender.
Step 4: combine the remaining ingredients with the marinade of tofu in the same bowl where you marinated the tofu
Step 5: place the firm tofu in the cooking pan and add the new mix over the firm tofu on the pan
Step 6: simmer the ingredients and the broccoli for about four minutes. You can then gently whisk the mix but you should be keen not to disturb the firm tofu so much.
You can serve the food with a bowl of white or brown rice. It is recommended to limit the serving to a cup of the food for a meal

Another fatty liver diet recipe is the homemade salmon patties 

Recipe for homemade salmon patties
1/3 cup of sliced fresh scallions’ 
5 lettuce leaves
1/3 cup of sliced fresh cilantro 
An egg
1 kilogram of fresh salmon (sans skins and medium-sized sliced chunks)
1 tbsp. curry paste 
Pieces of sliced strips of bell pepper
2 cloves of finely minced garlic 
1 small and finely sliced onion
Step 1: heat up your oven up to 400 degrees Fahrenheit
Step 2: combine the minced garlic, sliced bell pepper, curry paste and a sliced onion in your food processor. Blend the ingredients smoothly to ensure that they mix well.
Step 3: after blending the ingredients well, you can then add the whole egg, sliced salmon, and the sliced cilantro. You are then required to process the ingredients to achieve a fine consistency.
Step 4: use a small spoon and a cup to get the half-cup portions of the mixed patty. You can then place them on a baking tray.
Step 5: bake the patties for about 15 minutes
Step 6: place the patty on a lettuce leaf before serving
The food may be served with whole wheat buns
